Animal Healing Spell
Magickal healing is not just for humans. Our Familiars, companion animals and animal friends can benefit too. As with all healing, you should still consider whether professional help is needed as well, and you should also be careful not to prolong pain or suffering. When conducting a healing spell, Brighid is the Goddess on which you might want to call.
For this spell, you will need to gather a couple of hairs from the animal in question (or feathers if it is a bird, some aquarium or pond water if it is a water creature, etc.), and place them on a small tissue. Take a brown candle and write on it the name of the animal using a pencil, knife or your anthame. Then using a wee bit of the melted wax, attach the hairs, feathers, or piece of tissue if water was used, about halfway down the candle.
Place the candle in a secure holder and say:
As this candle burns may sickness depart,
As the hairs (or whatever you used) light,
Let the healing begin,
As I will it, so mote it be,
Blessed Be.**
